Eight months of the COVID-19 pandemic have taken an emotional, as well as a physical toll on many people. Added to the stress and isolation that comes with Coronavirus, is the threat of seasonal depression as we head into the cold months of winter. This episode features Ryan Dickson, Crisis Intervention Manager at CommUnity Crisis Services and Food Bank, and Mary Issah, Executive Director of NAMI (National Alliance on Mental Illness) Johnson County. Watch this episode to learn signs of depression, ways you can help, and community resources available for those suffering from mental illness.
