Community Connection is a video series that highlights the different people and organizations in our community. Each episode, Mayor Bruce Teague interviews guests about a variety of issues that are important to our residents.

Meet the Iowa City Police Department's first full-time Victim Services Coordinator, Ann Thompson. Learn how Thompson will work directly with victims to get them access to services and resources they may need following traumatic experiences. The hiring of Thompson represents an important step in the City's preliminary plan to restructure the police department. The Victim Services Coordinator position replaces one full-time police officer.
