As part of the City's Black History Month programming, this mini-documentary on the Iowa Federation Home shares the story of the historic house on Iowa Avenue. During a time of racial discrimination and housing segregation in Iowa City and at the University of Iowa, learn how the Iowa Federation Home served as a refuge for African American students. Watch the program to learn about the people who fought for civil rights and housing equality in our community.
