Iowa City Landfill Operations to Resume Tuesday

According to a city of Iowa City news release the will resume regular trash collection operations on Tuesday.

Residents looking to deposit trash should follow normal protocol for placing waste outside for pickup. Haulers not affiliated with a city or commercial enterprise will not have access to trash collection services until further notice is given, according to the release.

Geoff Fruin, Assistant to the City Manager, told Iowa City Patch on Monday that residential trash collection service should continue as normally scheduled,
