Iowa City Police: Dispute over Broken Window Leads to Broken Leg

According to Iowa City police, an argument between two former high school classmates led to a fight, with one man receiving a broken leg.

A scuffle between two high school classmates in early September left one man with a broken leg, according to police.

Stevenson Adam Henke, 28, was charged with assault causing bodily injury, a serious misdemeanor, for allegedly assaulting another man at 2:05 a.m. on the morning of Sept. 5.

According to the criminal complaint, Henke and another man were involved in an argument over payment for a car window belonging to the other man that Henke had allegedly broken. The officer said the victim of the attack reported being punched several times and knocked down by Henke as a result of the argument. Other witnesses reported seeing this as well, according to the complaint.

Henke and the other man are acquaintances from high school, according to the complaint.
