Iowa City Police: Muscatine Avenue Gasby's Reports Saturday Morning Robbery
No one was injured in the robbery that reportedly occurred in the early morning hours on Saturday.

No one was hurt this morning during a reported robbery at a on Muscatine Avenue.
According to a police press release, officers responded at 2:28 a.m. to a holdup alarm at 2303 Muscatine Avenue.
Once they arrived, an employee there told them that she had been robbed. According to the woman, an African American man had entered the store and began purchase so the register would open. When he saw the register open, he reportedly reached over the counter and grabbed some money out of the register. The man had then fled on foot to the west.

No one was injured during the incident and no weapon was displayed.
The suspect was described as a black man, between six foot two inches and six foot four inches in height, weighing roughly 220 pounds, and wearing a grey shirt, jeans, a blue hat with a white stripe, and glasses. The woman also said he had a mustache.
