Iowa City Schools Physical Plant Director Schultz Resigns
Schultz will be replaced by an interim director until a decision can be made on what to do with the position.

The Iowa City School District administrative team restructuring continues.
The district announced this morning that longtime Physical Plant Director Paul Schultz has resigned from the position, with his last day coming on September 7. Dave McKenzie, the current Assistant Physical Plant Director, will serve as an interim director of the interim plan.
For the past eight years, Schultz served as the physical plant director, a position which oversees the maintenance of district.

In the last few years, the district has gone through a series of changes at the administrative level, including the hiring of a new superintendent, Steve Murley; new human resources director, Chace Ramey; new executive director of financial services, Craig Hansel; and a new director of operations, David Dude.
