Iowa City Traffic Alert - Melrose Avenue Lane Reduction

Weather permitting, beginning Monday Oct. 5, 2020, westbound Melrose Avenue will be reduced to one lane of traffic between Emerald Street and Westgate Street to facilitate pavement repair. It is anticipated the work will be completed by Monday, Oct. 12, 2020.

Motorists should take note of this construction work and allow extra travel time as delays may occur. Please use caution when traveling in all construction areas.
