Iowa City Virtual Meeting To Discuss North Westminster Storm Sewer Upgrades Scheduled For May 13

The City’s Engineering Division invites residents to a public meeting to discuss upcoming storm sewer upgrades.

The meeting will be held virtually via Zoom from 6 to 7 p.m. on Thursday, May 13, 2021.

The project involves upsizing the storm sewer on North Westminster Street from Washington Street to Bowling Green Place. Plans are currently in the design phase, with construction anticipated to begin in 2022. Presenters will share information about the project, its impacts and timeline, and staff will gather feedback from neighborhood residents.
