Iowa City Year-End CAFR Financial Report Now Available
It will also be forward to the Government Finance Officers Association (GFOA) for consideration for an award in government financial.

Iowa City's annual year-end financial report, which provides information on actual income, incurred expenses, and financial position through the end of fiscal year 2020, is now available at icgov.org/budget. Compilation of the Comprehensive Annual Financial Report (CAFR) is required by the Iowa Code.

The 148-page report will be reviewed by the City Council and submitted to the City's bond holders.
It will also be forward to the Government Finance Officers Association (GFOA) for consideration for an award in government financial reporting. The City of Iowa City has earned a GFOA award for excellence for the past 35 years. The CAFR was audited by the CPA firm Bohnsack & Frommelt LLP.
