Leaf Vacuum To Clear Some One-Way Streets In Iowa City On November 18

A police vehicle will escort the leaf vacuum because it travels the wrong-way on one-way streets to collect the leaves.

The Iowa City leaf vacuum will visit the following one-way streets on Wednesday, Nov. 18, 2020:

Market Street (south side – odd numbered properties)

Jefferson Street (north side – even numbered properties)

Dodge Street (east side – even numbered properties)

Governor Street (west side – odd numbered properties)

Clapp Street (west side – odd numbered properties)

In order to ensure the pickup of your leaves, have all piles raked to the curb by 7 a.m. on Wednesday, Nov. 18. A police vehicle will escort the leaf vacuum because it travels the wrong-way on one-way streets to collect the leaves.
