Abraham James Harris, 2, son of Jeff and Amber, went home to heaven on Monday, May 12th.
Abe was born January 16, 2012 in Iowa City, the son of Jeff Allen and Amber Rae Lindahl Harris.
Abe opened the eyes and hearts of his family and brought them much laughter and joy. He was an intelligent and vibrant boy who loved chocolate donuts, Theisen popcorn and his baby food pouches. Abe was his mom’s companion and buddy and he loved time spent with his dad, brothers and sisters. The family knew he had a greater plan. Abe will go on living in others because of his Gift of Life donation. He will be greatly missed but never forgotten.
Abe is survived by his loving parents and his six siblings, Jamie, Sydnie, Hannah, Colby, Quincy and Henry; grandparents, Allen (Karen) Harris of Davenport and Jon Lindahl of Moline, Illinois; great-grandmothers, Mary Dengler and Noel Harris; numerous aunts, uncles, cousins and extended family.
Abe is in the loving care of Jesus and his grandmother Pamela, who preceded him in death, and other family members.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to the University of Iowa Foundation — 1 West Park Road, Iowa City, IA 52242 — in Abraham’s name for the UI Children’s Hospital or the Pediatric Intensive Care Unit.
