Elizabeth “Betty” A. Shea, 82, longtime resident of Windmill Manor Care Center and formerly of Chicago, died peacefully Sunday.
Graveside services will be Thursday at All Saints Cemetery in Des Plaines, Illinois. Betty was born June 13, 1931 in Chicago, the daughter of John J. and Dorothy M. Dingle Shea.
She was a longtime resident of Palatine, Illinois. Betty was employed by Union 76 Petroleum Company for many years. Following her retirement in 1993, she moved to the North Liberty area to be near family.
Survivors include cousins, James (Gloria) Koeppel of Iowa City and Phillip (Karen) Koeppel of Wyoming, Illinois; Tammy (Kenny) Musser, Jeff (Traci) Koeppel and Jim (Julie) Koeppel, Jr., all of the Iowa City area.
Arrangements are with Lensing Funeral & Cremation Service, Iowa City.
