John "Johnny" F. Dalton, Jr., 64, of Keota, passed away on Thursday., Feb. 13, 2014.
A visitation will be held on Wednesday, February 19th, from 12 to 2 p.m. at Lensing Funeral & Cremation Service in Iowa City with funeral services at 2 p.m.
In lieu of flowers, a memorial fund has been established.
John was born on Aug. 29, 1949 in Iowa City, the son of John & Ginita (Kessler) Dalton. He enjoyed spending time with family and friends telling stories and playing games. He was always tinkering on a vehicle or selling a car. He enjoyed his music loud, UFC fighting and Taekwondo. He was loved for his sense of humor, and on the second weekend of the month, you could find him at Rutledge, Missouri.
He is survived by his four children: Amy Dalton (Jennifer Novak) of Harper, Lindsey Dalton of Ainsworth, Crystal Dalton of Cedar Rapids, and Cody Dalton of Washington; six grandchildren; his companion of eighteen years, Vickie Altenhofen; Vickie's five children, their spouses and five grandchildren; four sisters and one brother.
He is preceded in death by his parents and two sisters.
