Karl C. Lottenbach, 85, died Friday, March 7th at the Oaknoll Health Center following a lengthy battle with Alzheimer’s disease.
A family memorial service with committal services will be held in Holiday Island, Arkansas at a later date.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to the Alzheimer’s Association.
Karl was born January 24, 1929 in Switzerland moving to the United States and Iowa in the early 1950’s. He was employed for many years at the University of Iowa Hospital School.
Karl and his wife, Shirley Mae, moved to Holiday Island, Arkansas, where they enjoyed their retirement. Following his wife’s death, Karl married Shirley Ann (Thiem) Lottenbach.
Survivors include his wife, three daughters and an extensive “adopted” family.
The family extends their appreciation to the staff at Oaknoll Health Center for their loving care and support.
