Nancy L. Conner, 69, of Iowa City, died Monday, April 28, 2014 at Mercy Hospice in Iowa City.
Her family will greet friends Friday, May 2nd at Lensing Funeral & Cremation Service in Iowa City from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. Private burial will be at Memory Gardens Cemetery.
Nancy was born September 3, 1944 in Iowa City, the daughter of Wilbur and Betty (Hess) Conner. Growing up in Iowa City, Nancy graduated from Iowa City High School in 1962 and worked at Barbara’s Bake Shoppe in downtown Iowa City. She later worked in Central Sterilization at the University of Iowa Hospitals and Clinics.
Nancy is survived by her sister Patty and her husband Jim of Iowa City and several nieces and nephews.
Her parents died before her.
