Terry F. Kadera, 68, of Iowa City, died Monday, February 10, 2014 at his home.
A memorial and time of sharing will be planned for mid-March at the chapel at St. Joseph's Cemetery in Iowa City.
Terry was born January 17, 1946 in Iowa City, the son of Herman and Luella (Kern) Kadera. He worked as a projectionist for the movie theatre's in downtown Iowa City, starting his career as a teenager in 1965 -- those theatre's included The Englert and The Varsity.
He is survived by nieces and nephews, Margaret Dalton (Pat) of West Liberty; Judy Swart (Glenn) of Washington, Iowa; Barb Dinsmore of Ponte Verde, Florida; Carol Waldschmidt (Rodney) of Iowa City; and David Dalton (Kathy) of Lake City, Florida.
His parents; two half sisters, Ginita and Shirley; a half brother, Keith; a niece, Mary Lou; and a nephew Johnny Dalton, Jr. died before him.
