Partial Trail Closure At Hickory Hill Park's Bloomington Street Entrance In Iowa City Begins Sept. 30

A partial trail closure at Hickory Hill Park near the Bloomington Street entrance will begin on Wednesday, Sept. 30, 2020.

The partial trail closure will affect about a third-of-a-mile worth of trail for an estimated two weeks.

The partial closure will allow for work on Ralston Creek. The trail closure is expected to be intermittent during this time.

Four parking spaces near the Bloomington Street entrance will also be blocked off for crews and machinery needed for the project.

Residents are asked to heed trail closure signs, or use other entrance at 800 Conklin Lane.
