Police: Naked Iowa City Man Attempted to Break into Residences
The man was found with bleeding feet and a black T-shirt around him in the early evening of June 25.

An Iowa City man was accused of attempted burglary after he was found mostly naked and bleeding from the feet on the steps of a residence at Black Springs Circle.
According police reports, officers were dispatched at 6:13 p.m., Monday evening for a burglary in progress at 207 Black Springs Circle. A 911 call from a neighbor had reported broken glass and had witnessed a white male with a stick in his hands between the two residences.
An officer arriving at the scene saw a white male, mostly naked, sitting on the steps at 207 Black Springs Circle, his feet bloody, a black T-shirt wrapped around him. Nearby, broken glass scattered the ground.

The man, Ryan Michael Hall, 27, of 2254 Riverside Dr., Iowa City, allegedly told the officer that he did not know where he was or what was going on, according to the criminal complaint. Further investigation revealed a broken window on the west side main level of 207 Black Springs, with a brick lying inside the residence on the floor next to the broken glass.
Hall also allegedly had been inside the residence at 209 Black Springs, and caused damage to the resident's vehicle while trying to climb into the home's garage attic.

Hall is in the Johnson County Jail as of Tuesday afternoon with a $7,500 cash-only bond.
