Republican Candidates to Participate in Twitter Debate at 2 p.m.

Not to be outdone by President Barack Obama's Twitter Town Hall, six Republican presidential candidates will be having a Twitter Presidential Debate today at 2 p.m.

The participating candidates are: 

U.S. Reps Michele Bachmann and Thaddeus McCotter, former U.S. House Speaker Newt Gingrich, former U.S. Sen. Rick Santorum, former New Mexico Governor Gary Johnson and Atlanta businessman Herman Cain.

The candidates will be forced to respond in 140 characters or less (the length of a Tweet), but they will be allowed to type multiple Tweets.
