Road Construction And Transit Notice: Prairie Du Chien Road Lane Reduction

Weather permitting, on Wednesday, Aug. 28, Prairie du Chien Road lanes of traffic will shift slightly just north of its intersection with Highway 1. This lane shift is necessary to accommodate the installation of monitoring wells in the area by Seneca Companies. It is anticipated that normal traffic will resume by the end of the day on Wednesday, Aug. 28.

Motorists are to allow extra travel time during this time period or seek an alternate route as delays may occur. As always, caution should be exercised when traveling in all construction areas.

Due to the lane shift, the North Dodge transit route will not service the bus stops located at Prairie Du Chein and Caroline Court (stop 7526), Prairie Du Chein and Caroline Avenue (stop 7527), Whiting Avenue and Kimball Road (stop 7528), Kimball Road and Kimball Avenue (stop 7529), and Kimball Road and North Governor (stop 7530). Alternative stops are located at Prairie Du Chein and North Dodge Street (stop 7525) and on the 900 block of North Dodge Street (stop 7531). Normal service will resume Thursday, Aug. 29.
