Software Upgrade Will Impact Access To City Documents, Web Forms In Iowa City On May 19

Beginning at noon on Wednesday, May 19, 2021, documents and web forms on the City’s website will be inaccessible as a software upgrade is made. Full service is expected to be restored by the end of the business day.

The land management, permitting, and licensing forms used by Neighborhood & Development Services, Public Works, and the City Clerk's Office will not be impacted by the May 19 software upgrade, and are available through their customer self-service portal. Please note that this portal will be offline for maintenance on Friday, May 21, 2021, and is expected to be restored by Saturday, May 22. Inspections requested prior to noon on Thursday, May 20 will still be scheduled and performed.
Customers will still be able to access the online utility payments and more at our website.
