Tuesday, May 27, 2014 ICCSD Board Meeting Update

The Tuesday, May 27th board meeting should be enlightening. It has program changes that people wishing to attend need to be aware of. The Board of Directors will have a special board meeting at 6:00 p.m. for public hearings concerning:

  • the 2014 certified budget amendment, 2014 South Elementary School construction, 
  • 2014 Nutritional Services office addition, 2014 West High restroom remodel, and  
  • 2014 Shimek Elementary School control upgrades.

  • This meeting will then adjourn and go to a board work session discussing “Attendance Area Development”. The work session will then adjourn and the board business meeting will start at 8:00 p.m. 
During community comments, interested community members can discuss any school-related topic not on the board agenda for this meeting; there are only three (3) board meeting agenda items: Certified budget amendment 2014, Appendage 9 approvals, and items withdrawn from the consent agenda ($2.17 million), not that there’s a snowball’s chance in hell of that happening.
