What on Earth? Hillary Nutcracker's a No Sale

I've leafed through a lot of catalogs this holiday season. I leafed through What on Earth's catalog and threw it across the room.

WHATONEARTHCATALOG.COM is the website, and the catalog, What on Earth, bills itself as “a collection of fun wear and delightful diversions.” I don’t consider a Hillary nutcracker with a plastic figurine of Hillary Clinton with her legs apart and what look like razor blades emanating from her crotch to her knees on the inside of her thighs a “delightful diversion.” I think it’s sexist and in poor taste.

Since Hillary Clinton ran for president in 2008 I’ve heard of Hillary nutcrackers sold at airports and other marketplaces, but I’d never seen one. As soon as I saw this one, I threw the catalog across the room near the garage door, to be recycled as soon as possible.

Think of the possibilities of a nutcracker with Donald Trump’s mouth as the functional nutcracker. His plastic head could have gossamer blond hair flowing from it. You know how he’s always cutting people down and calling them “losers”? Was he or any other presidential candidate mocked as Hillary was in this catalog and others I’ve seen? No.

So folks, this is nothing but old-fashioned sexism. I will not buy from any company that sells this kind of trash.
