5 Things for Johnston Friday: Preschool Registration, Basketball

Preschool Registration
The Johnston school district is holding registration for four-year-old preschool. Both new and current district families can register their children for the 2012-13 school year. Registrations can be made through Feb. 10 at the JCE main office.

Senior Center
The Johnston Senior Center at hosts Bingo today starting at 12:30 p.m.

Basketball
The girls' and boys' varsity basketball teams take on the Ankeny Hawks tonight in Ankeny. The girls' game starts at 6:15 p.m., followed by the boys' game at 7:45 p.m. Attend the games and chili supper not only to support the Dragons, but also to support a young Ankeny man who needs a heart transplant.
