Open House
Stop by the Two Rivers Bank, 4500 Merle Hay Road, open house from 7:30 to 9:30 a.m. for breakfast catered by the Machine Shed.
Community Health Service
Each Wednesday the Polk County Health Department and local partnership, including the Johnston Partnership for Healthy Community, present classes at the Urbandale Food Pantry. From 10 a.m. to noon learn about the following topics in December: healthy holiday recipes, health coaching, HIV/STD testing, and navigating the health care system.
Neighborhood Meeting
The Pinewood Glen Neighborhood meets at 6 p.m. in the East Meeting Room of the Johnston Public Library.
Facilities Information Meeting
The Johnston school district will host a public information meeting at 7 p.m. at the Johnston Middle School.
