What do you have planned around town today?

Spring Clean-up Drop off
The City of Johnston sponsors a spring cleaning drop-off for branches, tree limbs, and tires at the , 6400 N.W. Beaver Drive. Branches can't be more than 18 inches in diameter. Leaves and grass clippings will not be accepted and should be disposed of through the Compost It! program. The drop-off takes place between 7 a.m. and 3:30 p.m.
JHS Sports
The Dragons boys' varsity, junior varsity and ninth-grade soccer teams take on Ankeny at beginning at 4:45 p.m.
The girls' varsity soccer team takes on Ankeny at Ankeny Tennis Center at 4:15 p.m.
Scrapbooking
The Johnston Senior Center at hosts scrapbooking from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.
Drake Relays Band Festival
The Johnston High School band will attend the Drake Relays Band Festival at Waukee High School.
