• Iowa Corn Growers Applaud Senate Ag Committee Farm Bill Passage (morningagclips.com) — From its headquarters in Johnston, the Iowa Corn Growers Association is cheering Senate Agriculture Committee passage of the new Farm Bill, which it says is a big win for farmers. The bill advances ethanol fuel (E15), doubles key export-promotion funding, and orders a federal study of fertilizer industry consolidation and pricing, changes that could affect many Johnston-area and statewide producers.
