• NAMI Iowa raises over $150,000 during 11th annual NAMIWalks event (who13.com) — Johnston residents just helped NAMI Iowa raise more than $150,000 at Saturday's NAMIWalks event in town, despite rainy weather. Hundreds turned out to support mental health awareness, remember loved ones lost to suicide, and build a sense of community around recovery and support during National Suicide Prevention Month.
