The internationally-recognized African Children’s Choir will perform during the worship services at Meredith Drive Reformed Church, 5128 Meredith Drive in Des Moines, on Sunday, July 29 at 8:30 a.m. & 10:30 a.m. The choir raises global awareness of the thousands of orphaned and abandoned children in Africa. A freewill offering will be taken to support the children in the choir.
Their music features familiar children’s songs, traditional spirituals and rhythmic gospel favorites. Despite the tragedy they’ve experienced, the children share their hope and joy through song.

In addition to education the choir finances numerous relief and development projects throughout Africa, including the Music for Life Centers in AIDS-devastated South Africa, and food relief containers to war-torn Sudan. www.africanchildrenschoir.com
