AIB offers tuition break for employees of business partners

AIB College of Business is throwing a party to explain details of its new “Inside Track” program, which enables employees of participating businesses to pay a significantly reduced rate to enroll in AIB classes.

Business owners, managers and human resource specialists are invited to a complimentary evening of “Jazz & Jubilation” from 4:30 to 7 p.m. Aug. 2 at the scenic patio and diner on AIB’s campus, 2500 Fleur Drive, where the college’s representatives will offer personal explanations of the program. Campus tours also will be given, and beverages and appetizers will be served. Reservations are preferred; go to http://aib-jazzandjubilation.eventbrite.com.

“AIB will offer reduced tuition to adult students who are currently employed full-time by one of our corporate partners,” says AIB President Nancy Williams. “The grants are renewable each term as long as the student maintains a 3.0 GPA and remains employed full-time by the same corporate partner.”

Employees are not only the most valuable resource of a business, but they also represent its biggest financial commitment, Williams says. “So why not get a better return on that investment by encouraging employees to further their education and broaden their skill sets?”

AIB’s online program is particularly convenient for busy professionals, Williams says. “They can even complete a bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Business Administration or an Associate degree completely online.”

AIB’s fall term of day, evening and online classes begin Sept. 4.
