There's a ministry to newcomers led by women of the community who want to meet you! The Newcomers Ministry is designed to provide fellowship and encouragement for women going through the transition and adjustment of moving. It reminds you that God moved with you! (This class is part of the international outreach of Just Moved! www.justmoved.org and is based on After the Boxes are Unpacked, a Focused on the Family book by Susan Miller.)

We will meet Monday evenings from 7-8:30 or Tuesday mornings from 9-11:15 beginning September 10th & 11th in the Welcome Room at the Johnston Evangelical Free Church. Childcare is provided Tuesday mornings up to age 5 with donations going to the nursery fund.

Join us for a meet and greet time on Tuesday, August, 28th, 9-10:30am at Johnston Evangelical Free Church AND/OR Thursday, September 6th, at 7pm at Friedrichs Coffee (4632 86th St., Urbandale-behind Walgreens at the corner or 86th & Meredith). Other women who are new to the community will be there, along with women who have experienced being new and have a heart for women just like you.
