Kwahadi Indian Dancers

The Kwahadi Indian Dancers of Amarillo, TX, are making a stop in Johnston as part of their summer tour of Michigan and Wisconsin.  On July 31, 7:30 PM at St. Paul Presbyterian Church, 6426 Merle Hay Road, Johnston, they are providing a free performance in the gym on their way home to Texas.

The Kwahadi perform Native American dances of the southwest tribes.  Their show for this year's tour is called 'Song of the Eagle'.  The dancers are members of a Boy Scout Venture Crew based in Amarillo at their own kiva.  More information is available at their web site www.kwahadi.com.

Johnston Boy Scout Troop 44 and St. Paul Presbyterian Church are sponsoring this group overnight at the church.
