Another Beautiful Day In Store For Johnston, But Is There Still Winter In The Forecast?
We're headed for another record high today.

Sunshine, warm breezes, record-setting high temps have been the trend this week. It's like we're in San Diego, not Johnston.
Wednesday saw a record high of 81 degrees, breaking the old mark of 75. Today's forecast from KCCI calls for a high of 79, which would smash the record of 77 degrees.

Don't pack away all your scarves and boots just yet. According to data compiled by Iowa State University , about three-quarters of the years in the past century the metro area have seen measurable snow in April.
Some years it was just one day, the most recorded was five days in April with snowfall.
