April 20 Should Be Drug-Free Day for Johnston Police; Drug Charges Filed in Police Blotter

The Johnston Police Department investigated a number of calls from April 13 to April 15. Take a look at the reports.

officials said there has been few or no previous issues arising from the day in past years.

Aside from general awareness of the day the department does not have any plans for increased enforcement, officials said.

April 15
Dustin Strawn, 22, was arrested for narcotics possession and possession of drug paraphernalia in the area of 86ht Street and Meredith Drive. Strawn was also cited for no insurance and improper use of lamps.

April 13
Joshua Brennan, 25, was arrested for driving while revoked and possession of drug paraphernalia in the 6300 block of Northwest 100th Street. Brennan was also cited for not wearing a seatbelt.
