Notable Iowa Veterans Exhibit
The Iowa Gold Star Military Museum opens the Notable Iowa Veterans exhibit opens today. The exhibit is open from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. today and 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday. A new photographic exhibit honoring the military and civilian accomplishments of 40 notable Iowa veterans.
Art & Soul Opening Reception
Frame Works in Johnston is pleased present the Art & Soul exhibit. Frame Works hosts a reception from 5 to 7 p.m. to meet the artists. The feature is presented by five local female artists. The exhibit will hang in the gallery until Dec. 31.
Senior Activities
The Johnston Senior Center at Crown Point Community Center hosts scrapbooking at 9 a.m., and bingo at 12:45 p.m.
Jump N Jam
Pump It Up hosts Tween Night from 7:45 to 9:45 p.m. for children ages eight and up for bouncing, racing, singing karaoke, dancing and having a great time.
