Assault on Officer, Interference with Official Acts: Johnston Police Blotter

The Johnston Police Department investigated a number of calls Oct. 21 to Oct. 22. Take a look at the reports.

Oct. 21
A 25-year-old man reported receiving harassing text messages.

Oct. 22
A 22-year-old man reported someone had used his social security number to obtain credit at a store.

Steven Hawk, 46, was charged with assaulting a police officer and interference with official acts after officers responded to a house in the 9100 block of Northwest 72nd Circle on an intoxicated man.
