Assault on Officers, Drug Charges: Johnston Police Blotter
The Johnston Police Department investigated a number of calls June 16 to 18. Take a look at the reports.

June 18
John Pearson, 43, was arrested for possession of marijuana and drug paraphernalia at the Bob Shelter Recreation area. His wife, Kimberley Pearson, 45, was arrested for interference with official acts.
June 17
A 22-year-old woman reported her vehicle was scratched with a key while it was parked in the 6000 block of Morningside Drive.
Alec Steffes, 21, was charged with possession of marijuana. During the arrest Steffes allegedly assaulted two Johnston police officers and a Polk County Sheriff's deputy, causing minor injuries to all. Steffes was also charged with assault on a police officer and interference with official acts.
June 16
Officers responded to a call of domestic dispute between a husband and wife in the 6700 block of Ceres Circle. The husband left before officers arrived. No charges were filed.
