Attempt to File Tax Return Unearths Identity Theft: Johnston Police Reports

April 12

A woman who lives in the 6000 block of Glenn Circle reported the unauthorized use of a debit/credit card and cash missing from her house. She suspects a male acquaintance.

April 13

A resident in the 6900 block of Capitol View Court reported a case of identity theft after attempting to file his tax return.

Employees at Youth Homes of MidAmerica reported a runaway, who later returned.
