Attempted Burglary, Stolen Wallet: Johnston Police Blotter

The Johnston Police Department investigated a number of calls Sept. 22. Take a look at the reports.

Dates below are when the incident was reported or occurred, not when an arrest or charges were filed. Charges do not always result in convictions. All individuals listed below are innocent until proven guilty.

Sept. 20
A 35-year-old woman reported someone tried to break into the read door of her garage in the 6400 block of Northwest 97th Street. Damage to the door was estimated at $100.

Sept. 21
Officers were dispatched to a residence in the 6700 block of Gables Way in regards to a domestic dispute.

Sept 22.
A 26-year-old female reported someone had entered her residence in the 4700 block of Northwest 62nd Avenue and stole her wallet out of her purse. No forced entry was found.
