Back to School Blessing
With school starting next week, St. James Lutheran Church is planning a service to bless students of every age from preschool to college, along with teachers, school administrators and support staff. Students are invited to bring their backpacks with them to the worship service, which begins at 5 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 10, at the church, 5665 Merle Hay Road.

Join StageWest for a revival of one of the most popular and disucssed plays in our 16-year history. StageWest proudly presented Bill W. and Dr. Bob, the story of the two founders of Alcoholics Anonymous. This production is sponsored by the Powell Chemical Dependency Center at Iowa Lutheran Hospital.

It’s Rex Manning Day Part Deux, a night dedicated to all the things you loved / hoped you’d forget about the ’90s. Dance Baby Dance

Admission: $5/Person or $12/Family; Ages 1 & Under are Free (Children must be accompanied by Adult)
What is Dance Baby Dance? It's a family dance party. You come, you dance, you play, you laugh. Participate in group activities or do your own thing. Go to the lobby and take a breather from the action, maybe read some books. Come back in, dance it out. Live show starts at 11am & lasts about 30 minutes. Just right for all attention spans.
