Bank Reports Counterfeit Bill: Johnston Police Blotter
The Johnston Police Department investigated a number of calls through July 31. Take a look at the reports.

July 30
Officers made a report of damage to a park sign belonging to the city.
July 31
An employee of Bank Iowa, 5525 Merle Hay Road, reported receiving a counterfeit $10 bill.
Officers responded to a call of a possible stolen vehicle parked in a parking lot at 4755 N.W. 62nd Ave. The vehicle was confirmed stolen by Des Moines Police Department. It was removed and returned to the owner.
Cole Ledbetter, 29, was arrested for possession of marijuana and drug paraphernalia in the 6200 block of Merle Hay Road. Ledbetter's vehicle was impounded.
