Beaver Creek Second-Graders Explore the Past at Living History Farms

Second-graders spent the day learning the ins and outs of living in the 1900s.

Beaver Creek Elementary second-grade students went back in time on Wednesday.

The class explored what life was like on an early-1900s farm during a field trip to Living History Farms in Urbandale.

Students learned how children washed clothes, made biscuits, shelled corn, fed livestock, ironed and brushed horses 111 years ago.Β
