Black Friday Deals Start on Thanksgiving Day this Year

Black Friday, also known to shopping junkies as the best holiday between Election Day and Christmas, is coming our way and sooner than ever: Black Friday deals begin on Thanksgiving Thursday.

First Walmart announced they would open a 8 p.m. on Thanksgiving. Shortly after Target announced they would be opening at 9 p.m. Thanksgiving Day.

That means you can celebrate the meaningful bonds you and your loved ones have forged, then immediately trample over strangers to get an amazing deal on a 44-inch LCD TV.

Target's Black Friday deals include a 22-inch LCD HDTV for $147.
Walmart's Black Friday deals include special buys on LED TVs and computers as low as $499.

Super Target is located at 11148 Plum Drive, while nearest Walmart can be found in Grimes or on 73rd Street in Des Moines.

But Walmart and Target won't be the only store celebrating the high holiday early; Sears and Kmart will start their deals at 8 p.m. on Thanksgiving day as well.

Best Buy will be holding its sale that night at 12 a.m., in the first minutes of Black Friday.
