Camp Dodge Announces Four-Week Concert Series

Looking for a little homegrown music to fill those hot July evenings?

announced this week a four-week Adjutant General's Summer Concert Series starting July 10.

The series features four Iowa-based bands or musicians performing at the historic Camp Dodge pool complex, 7105 N.W. 70th Ave.

Each concert begins at 6:30 p.m.

Guests are encouraged lawn chairs, coolers and picnic baskets.

Band schedule:

• July 10 - Richie Lee and the Fabulous 50's
• July 17 - Brother Trucker
• July 24 - Sydney Lett and The Beau Nystrom Band
• July 31 - The Nadas

The July 10 show includes a classic car cruise starting at 4:45 p.m.

Visitors are asked to enter Camp Dodge through the Northwest 70th Avenue gate. Photo identification is required for admittance to Camp Dodge for individuals ages 16 and older, a driver's license is acceptable.

In the event of inclement weather concerts will be rescheduled, if possible.
