Celebrate Johnston
The first Celebrate Johnston community event features guest speaker Melissa Stockwell at 7 p.m. at Johnston Middle School. Stockwell is an American soldier whose life was changed in 2004 when she lost a limb during active combat.
Wee Read
The Johnston Public Library hosts Wee Read for children ages 18 months to three years of age at 10:15 a.m., 10:45 a.m. and 11:15 a.m.
Senior Activities
The Johnston Senior Center at Crown Point Community Center hosts Sew-cial from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m., bridge from 11:30 a.m. to 3 p.m., cards and dominos at 1 p.m.
Thanksgiving Meal
The Johnston Historical Society will serve a traditional Thanksgiving meal for members only at 5 p.m.
