The biggest thing going on in Johnston Friday will actually take place in downtown Des Moines.
The Johnston High School Dragons are making their 12th appearance in the state baseball tournament, reports WHO-TV.com, and will take the field again at Principal Park Friday night.
The Dragons beat Linn-Mar 2-0 Wednesday in the quarterfinal game of the Class 4A Iowa high school state baseball tournament.
Johnston plays in the semifinals at 6 p.m. against the top-seeded Des Moines East Scarlets.
