School Facilities Work Session
The Johnston school board meets for a facilities work session at 5 p.m. at the .
A draft agenda includes the following items to be discussed:

• a review progress of the new 10-year facilities plan
• discussion of 2011-12 enrollment report
• review and discuss current facility options
• discussed proposed new high school

Boys' Substate Basketball
The Johnston Dragons take on West Des Moines Valley at 7 p.m. at Southeast Polk in the final substate game.
Johnston adults are asked to sit on the west side of the gym, while students will be seated on the south endzone bleachers.

Band Concerts
hosts a seventh-grade band concert. Performances will be at 6:30 p.m. and 7 p.m. at Summit Middle School.
Johnston Middle School ninth-graders present a band concert at 7:30 p.m.

Movie Night
hosts a family movie night and pasta buffet tonight. Dinner gets under way at 5:30 p.m. and "Peter Pan" starts at 6:30 p.m. Have a little fun and come dressed as your favorite character. RSVP to Megan Martens at 278-4711, ext. 120, or mmartens@hyperionfc.com.
