ChildServe CEO Celebrates 20 Years at Helm
Lloyd VanderKwaak has brought clarity to the mission of ChildServe over 20 years of service.

Lloyd VanderKwaak, president and CEO, will celebrate 20 years at ChildServe on March 31. He came to ChildServe in search of a new venture of leadership and innovation, and found exactly that.
When Lloyd came to ChildServe, he had a goal of bringing clarity to the mission. Over the last 20 years, he has seen the mission blossom into a way of life for staff and supporters.
Lloyd has been successful in working with other leaders within ChildServe to diversify this organization so that it can be a resource for children and families with a variety of needs. One service area that came to fruition under his leadership is the Adaptive Equipment department, which now provides assistive services to hundreds of children with special mobility needs.

“It’s not really about me; I’ve had a tremendous team to collaborate with during my time here. Many things wouldn’t be possible without everyone’s hard work and support,” says Lloyd.
Having the opportunity to connect with families is something that Lloyd truly values in his role as CEO. “Spending time with the families of ChildServe has allowed me to learn from them and made me realize that ‘partnering with families’ is not just a part of the mission statement, but also the key to providing quality service and having a successful business,” says Lloyd.
