City Council, School Board Meetings - And More in Johnston

Language Lovers Unite! 
The Johnston Public Library hosts Language Lovers Unite!, a program for amateur linguists and culture curiosos alike. Dr. Donald Moon will host the program at 6:30 p.m. tonight for part two of the two part program. "What Are They and Why Do We Say Them?" 

School Board Meeting 
The Johnston Board of Education meets for a regular meeting at 5 p.m. at the Administrative Resource Center. See a full agenda on the district's website. 

City Council Meeting 
The Johnston City Council meets at 6 p.m. for a work session and 7 p.m. for a regular meeting at city hall. A full agenda can be found on the city's website. The city will host a short reception to thank community donors for contributing the the expansion of the school district and police department's 411 Program. 

Concerts 
The Summit Middle School sixth grade band hosts a concert at 5:30 p.m. and 6:45 p.m.
The Timber Ridge Band hosts a concert for fifth grade at 6:30 p.m.
